This Privacy Policy explains how MyCursive, operated by World Reconnaissance Services LLC, collects, uses, and shares personal information when you visit or make a purchase from shop.mycursive.com, use a customer account, or contact us about an order.

Information we collect

  • Order and contact information: name, email address, phone number, billing details, order number, products purchased, and information you provide in a support request.
  • Payment information: payment providers process payment-card and wallet information. MyCursive receives transaction details such as payment status and limited card information, not your complete card number.
  • Device and usage information: IP address, browser and device information, pages viewed, referring pages, interactions, and cookie or pixel identifiers.
  • Account information: information used to create or access a Shopify customer account and view order history.

How we use information

We use personal information to process payments; provide digital products; send order, download, and service messages; operate customer accounts; answer support and refund requests; prevent fraud and abuse; maintain and improve the store; measure performance; comply with legal and tax obligations; and, where permitted, provide or measure marketing and advertising.

Service providers and sharing

We disclose information only as needed to operate the store, fulfill orders, comply with law, or support advertising choices. Providers currently used by the storefront may include:

  • Shopify for storefront hosting, checkout, customer accounts, payments, fraud prevention, analytics, and Shopify Network Intelligence features.
  • Filemonk for linking purchased products to digital files, generating download access, recording delivery events, and recording download activity.
  • Payment, email, and SMS providers for transactions and order communications.
  • Google and YouTube, Meta/Facebook and Instagram, Pinterest, and TikTok for analytics, advertising, attribution, and commerce integrations where enabled.
  • Selleasy for storefront product-offer features.

These providers process information under their own terms and privacy notices. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect customers or the business, or as part of a business transaction. Advertising-related disclosures may be considered “sharing,” “selling,” or targeted advertising under some privacy laws even when no money is exchanged for the information.

Cookies and advertising choices

The store and its providers use cookies, pixels, and similar technologies for essential functions, preferences, analytics, fraud prevention, and advertising. You can limit cookies through your browser. Depending on your location, you may also have rights to opt out of targeted advertising or certain data sharing. Use any privacy-choice link presented by the store or contact us using the details below.

Digital delivery and support

To fulfill a digital order, Shopify order information is made available to Filemonk. Filemonk may use the checkout email address and order details to provide download links and may record whether a delivery message was sent and whether a file was downloaded. If you contact support, we use the information you provide to verify the order and resolve access, product-selection, or refund questions.

Retention and security

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfill orders, provide support, maintain business and tax records, prevent fraud, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations. We use reasonable safeguards, but no internet transmission or storage system is completely secure.

Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, portability, restriction, or an opt-out from certain uses or disclosures. We may need to verify your identity and order relationship before acting on a request. You may unsubscribe from promotional email through the link in the message; transactional order and download messages may still be sent.

Children

The storefront is intended for adults purchasing educational materials. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can review and remove it where appropriate.

International processing

Our providers may process information in countries other than your own. Where required, they use contractual or other legal safeguards for those transfers.

Other MyCursive websites

The educational content site at mycursive.com uses a separate privacy notice because it may operate different advertising and newsletter services.

We may update this policy to reflect operational, legal, or service changes. The date above identifies the latest published version.
